Generalitat de Catalunya entrusted us with the task of making the first mobile application that would allow access to the results as a second screen by following the results of the TV.

This time we're facing different project, on shot app, no time to make any errors no time to cover up fails, only time to shine.

Started with SUS research, then some ideation and co-creation sessions to get insights and ideas to validate.

Started with interviews never be so easy, everyone from 18 to 99+ is in range. More than 75 interview done. Other countries were is more common this type of electronic monitoring of elections the decision was clear. The app should shine in its simplicity and its reliability in accessing official data.

Fast and clean was the rule, fast ideation fast validation in guerrilla test (lots of guerrilla test).

One shoot app must be reliable, easy flow and low learning curve. Included several testing with users to verify and iterate fast.

The app focus on the quick access to the scrutiny data, open app automatically see information, just this. If you want more there are more but research tells us this had to be the primary function. Fast and clean.

Included the possibility of looking back in time and see the historical results in previous elections, that was one insight we learned this time.

We created a little gamification by giving a chance to users to generate their own parliaments and let them see how the evolution through scrutiny will engage users to increase time on app.

In result Elections 27S become nº1 in both apps stores and staying there for 2 days with a rate of 4,5 stars. More than 1M impressions over the net and more than 300k shares through the app.
